Thinking about getting a custom Audimute image panel made, but you don't know if your image will work well? These slides will explain exactly what you need to do to find out if your image is good enough for print!
6. Once entered, the results will show which sizes
will work for your image.
7. Which is the right size option for me?
Recommended?
Best Quality?
?
?
?Max Size?
?
8. For most of our customers, we suggest going
with the“Recommended”size
• Quality looks great and
doesn’t strictly limit you
on your image size.
• Very minor grain or
pixelization might be
noticeable.

9. For discerning customers who want the highest
resolution possible, choose“Best Quality”
• Strict limit on image
size.
• Marginal quality
improvements, but it
results in the best print
quality possible.

10. For customers who want the largest size possible and
aren’t as concerned with resolution, choose “Max size”
• Low restrictions on size.
• Largest image sizes
possible.
• Grain & Pixelization will
probably be noticeable
at close range.

12. Quality differences disappear the farther away your are
From over 10+ feet away it
can become difficult to tell
the difference between best
and recommended quality.
From 15+ feet away it can
become difficult to tell the
difference between best
quality and max size.

16. NOTE: The numbers generated from this calculator are only a
size estimation and are not a guarantee of print quality. The
only way to get a guarantee of quality is to have us manually
inspect your images.
Also, the information you enter must be the native sizes /
numbers of your image. Scaling up & resizing a small / low DPI
image in a program like Photoshop to be bigger does nothing
to make the image’s print quality better.

18. DPI = Dots Per Inch
More dot’s per inch (DPI) means that
there’s more detail and helps to create
higher resolution in your image.
Our max print on fabric is 200 DPI, but
an image with a DPI higher than that is
still helpful! A larger DPI can allow for a
larger image panel.

300dpi
Large Dimensions + Large DPI = Large Panels
DPI isn’t the only thing that determines
resolution though, your image’s pixel
width and height are just as important!
The bigger the image is, the easier it is
to put on a large panel.
20. Vector Graphics
Vector graphics are computer generated
images that are made from lines and
points. There are no pixels in a vector
and because of that the image will have
the same quality at any size.
Vectors are ideal for logos and
extremely large scale prints. Though
regular graphics can work for those too.
