INSTALLATION OF APPS
Now you know the benefits of being a veteran mobile 3D
Animator! It is not enough to know what it is and its
benefits, you should know how it is being done too! That
is what this eBook is all about. This chapter is going to
show you the various steps on how to go about the
names and installation of the main and subsidiary
applications needed for this purpose.
Kindly note that the choice of applications especially the
subsidiary apps, solely depend on the creator. (i.e his
preference). So, our preferences on the use of the
applications would be listed below.
Before we go on, to be successful in this journey of
creating animations with your mobile phone, be ready to

have a reasonable amount of data, phone memory
space, time, e.t.c.
Applications needed:
• PLOTAGON APP (MAIN APP)
• A VIDEO EDITOR APP (Preference: Inshot App)
• A FILE EXTRACTOR APP (Preference: Total
Commander App)
• ALIGHT MOTION APP (Optional, not available on
Apple store)
• WATERMARK REMOVAL APP (Optional)
NOTE: Do note that the choice of apps and mode of
installation differs from the Android device and iOS
device.
PLOTAGON
This is the main application needed for a great animation
making. As of the time of this eBook compilation, there
are three known ways of installing the PLOTAGON app on
your mobile phone, reason being that, option A may
work well for a person and may not work for the other.

• Downloading from APTOIDE, through a link that
would be provided right here or if inaccessible, you

installation is much more better, faster than Option
C, you can go on to use the Option C method below,

• iOS USERS- DOWNLOAD PLOTAGON ON YOUR iOS
DEVICE
• If you use an Android device, and you still experience
installation issues, fortunately for you, there is an
alternative, which is installing an extra file, that
would enable the PLOTAGON App run effectively
after downloading it. A pictorial Guide would be
given below. Before using this means, make sure you
have downloaded the PLOTAGON application from
Google Play store, then You need to download the
extra file. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD EXTRA FILE ,
After downloading the extra file, Follow the steps in
pictorial guide, below:

App", Open it and click “Downloaded files"

options for copy/move via Bluetooth appears.

click “force stop”, this step is not compulsory,
without force stopping your PLOTAGON app, the
application would still run!
NOTE: IF YOU USED THIS PARTICULAR METHOD OF
INSTALLATION, DO NOT OPEN PLOTAGON APP, UNTIL
YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THE ABOVE STEPS, SO IT CAN
RUN EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY.
INSTALLATION OF OTHER APPS.
For Android users, you can get the INSHOT, TOTAL
COMMANDER, WATERMARK REMOVAL, and ALIGHT
MOTION APP on Google Play store.
For iOS users, you can get the INSHOT APP on Apple
store, but the TOTAL COMMANDER app is not available
on the Apple store, but you can also make use of any
other good FILE EXTRACTOR App. The Alight motion App
is also not available on the Apple store, but it is optional
as regards this guide.

CHAPTER 2
SETTING UP YOUR PLOTAGON ACCOUNT
After installing the necessary applications, what next? Of
course, you have got to put them to use and not to
occupy space on your phone, or add to your app screen.
The next step, I would show you is how to set up your
PLOTAGON account after successful installation, because
some activities require to have an account. Kindly follow
the pictorial guide below:
➢ Open your PLOTAGON application, your app
should look like this, if installed successfully.

click “continue”

purposes, verify, then go ahead to “log in" and
fill in your details, your email address and
password.

CREATING A NEW CHARACTER
Great! You have installed your application, created your
account, the next thing is to maximize the app right? Yes!
Let me go on to take you through the process. To create
a new animated video, either a comedy skit, an
informative video, any one at all, you need to have your
script ready, which would act as your guide through the
creation. Then, you start with creating characters to your
choice, how best you want them to look! Come on, it is
pretty easy. You can be that veteran animator, you have
always aspired to be! Let’s go!
STEPS
➢ Open your PLOTAGON application and click the
video icon.

➢ Click characters then click “Create new”

➢ Click the first icon, its function is to give you a wide
view of the character, and to select if you want its
gender to be male or female or both.

➢ The second icon, brings the face of the character
closer to you, and it helps you choose the structure
of the face of the character, setting it to your
preference.

➢ The next icon, enables choose the type of hair you
would want on your character.

➢ The next icon, if your character is a Male, gives your
character a moustache.

➢ The next icon lets you change your character’s eyes,
eyebrows and lips. Click to try.

CREATING A NEW PLOT
The basic things you needed to know have been treated
above. Now, lets get down to business that is the making
of the animation! Kindly follow the steps below using the
pictorial guide! Remember, you are just one step away
from being a veteran 3D animator.
➢ Open your plotagon app, click create new plot.

➢ Click on the clipper icon as shown in picture below,
to add scene, like a background environment for
your animation, there are lot of options to choose
from.

➢ Select from the wide range of scenes provided for
you, whichever is fine by you.

➢ Move on to the next thing, which is to create a
dialogue, by writing and using the system's voice or
recording your own voice and add character and

actions, you must have created your characters
before proceeding to this.

Select the action, you would want your character to
display in the video.

➢ You can also choose to change the position and
direction of the camera, by establishing shot, and
this is achieved by clicking the small camera icon.

clicking on it enables you to add a text in between
your videos, like “Few years later" “Few minutes
later"......., and you can also choose the location of
the text either towards the left, right, or centred. If
you wish to add a voice to read out the text, you can
also do that here.

➢ The “S-like" shaped icon, enables you design your
animation, giving room for one character to act on
the other.
