among us to all over the world Take care of
yourself, eat regularly, exercise, sleep
enough and reduce all other sources of
stress. Do things that give you back the
control of your own life. Dedicate time to
activities that improve your mood. That can
be listening to music, a film, a good book, a
hobby you haven't had time for before.
C ontrol the things that you can, not the
things you can’t
 O pen up and share your feelings.
P ractice daily stress reduction tactics,
including physical activity
E ngage in mindfullness; be here now;
worry will not help!
C ount your blessings daily.
O verturn negative thoughts to positive.
V olunteer to help others
I dentify helpful supports and resources
D o your part to prevent spread of virus.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major effect on
our lives. Many of us are facing challenges that can
be stressful, overwhelming, and cause strong
emotions in adults and children. Public health
actions, such as social distancing, are necessary to
reduce the spread of COVID-19, but they can make
us feel isolated and lonely and can increase stress
and anxiety. Learning to cope with stress in a
healthy way will make you, the people you care
about, and those around you become more
Avoid crowds and close contact. Wear a
properly fitted mask when physical
distancing is not possible and in poorly
ventilated settings. Clean your hands
frequently with alcohol-based hand rub or
soap and water. Cover your mouth and nose
with a bent elbow or tissue when you cough or
sneeze.
