Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs
Personal Brand Statement:
As an Army veteran dedicated to lifelong learning, I bring a disciplined, strategic mindset to my pursuits. I am constantly expanding my knowledge to innovate and lead effectively. My journey is driven by a commitment to excellence, and to make a meaningful impact in the world.
Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

How to build business connections while in college
1. Steve Sorensen UBS
Wednesday, July 12, 2017
It’s good to think about your future after college. I know it can take the fun out of what’s
happening at the present but if you don’t consider things in the next few years, you might miss
out on good opportunities. If you’re a college student like me, you have to get your name out
there and build business networks while you’re still gathering experience.
One of the ways to build a connection is through Linkedin. Creating a profile in the social
platform is a good start when it comes to finding opportunities in reputable companies. By listing
down your educational background and work experience, you might attract the attention of HR
professionals looking for skilled people. The site is also a good place where you can gain business
insights.

competitive industries in business. Currently, I

2. Another way to build business connections while in college is to attend job fairs hosted by
organizations and alumni associations. This gathering will expose you to different companies and
you’ll also get to meet successful alumni that will help you in the future. You’ll also get a glimpse
of life in the workforce from the talks and lectures.
And lastly, your internship matters. You have to take it seriously. Even if it means doing menial
tasks, it will build up your reputation in the company. If you get high marks for your performance,
the company might absorb you after you graduate. Find a good company for an internship and do
your job well.
These three things are great ways to find a job that you might want to have in the future. When
you’re in college, learning is no longer confined in the classroom. You have to be proactive in
finding openings that will lead you to success.
Thanks for visiting. I'm Steve Sorensen, a member of the Undergraduate Business Society (UBS) at
the University of California, Los Angeles. While I still have a few years before graduating, I’m
already thinking about my future in the workforce. Visit this page for more updates.
