The Rules Do Apply: Navigating HR ComplianceAggregage
https://www.humanresourcestoday.com/frs/26903483/the-rules-do-apply--navigating-hr-compliance
HR Compliance is like a giant game of whack-a-mole. Once you think your company is compliant with all policies and procedures documented and in place, there’s a new or amended law, regulation, or final rule that pops up landing you back at ‘start.’ There are shifts, interpretations, and balancing acts to understanding compliance changes. Keeping up is not easy and it’s very time consuming.
This is a particular pain point for small HR departments, or HR departments of 1, that lack compliance teams and in-house labor attorneys. So, what do you do?
The goal of this webinar is to make you smarter in knowing what you should be focused on and the questions you should be asking. It will also provide you with resources for making compliance more manageable.
Objectives:
• Understand the regulatory landscape, including labor laws at the local, state, and federal levels
• Best practices for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective compliance programs
• Resources and strategies for staying informed about changes to labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
6. Know yourself
Recognizing your talents, interest and excitement is critical.
Analyze the experiences of the life, describe your beliefs and
develop a greater understanding of your own talents.
A talents and teaching instructor or tutor will help you better
describe skills, interest and passion.
Think of what went well or not so well, and then implement those
lessons on the next day of work.
Ask for feedback from others to reduce the gap between how
others see you and how you see yourself.
6
9. Getting in touch with emotions is an excellent way of identifying
your career interests.
In order to define your work of importance, ask yourself any
questions.
What do you want to do in your spare time?
What's your passion that can be turned into a career?
What were your favorite internships/ extracurricular
activities/hobbies?
What do you like or dislike about your past jobs?
IDENTIFY YOUR JOBS OF INTEREST

12. Create a nice resume
Remember the below points for creating a nice resume
Choose a work target (also called a "job Objective"). A real job title fits well.
Figure out what talents, expertise, and experience are required to do the goal
job.
Make a list of your 3 or 4 greatest abilities, skills, information that make you a
good choice for that goal job.
Think of some experiences from your previous work history that demonstrate that
talent for each main skill.
Describe each achievement in a clear statement of action which emphasizes the
outcomes.
Create a list of the key positions you have filled in chronological order. Include
voluntary jobs that fills a void.
Make a list of your qualifications and schooling that is connected to the current
career you seek.
Choose a chronological or practical resume style that suits the condition.
12
15. Be fully prepared for your interview
Be straightforward in answering questions and choose your words carefully.
Polish your skills regularly to better equip yourself for enhanced performance
Effective planning is the secret to your success; the same applies to the interview.
You need to consider and recall the mission of the organization you are presenting with.
Plan your replies around: why do they recruit me.
Do a few mock interviews.
Get advice from a trustworthy faculty or administrator for an academic interview.
Prepare few responses to typical questions for interviews.
You can seek help from friends, family and the internet, where there are many job
portals, who can guide you and help you crack an interview.
15
18. Be prepared even before the job
A common source of job planning will help you not only decide which
course is right for you in terms of your personal and career
ambitions, your talents and your ability.
When you know what you want, it is expected that you start preparing
for it; understand the job duties, the job expectations, skills required
to succeed on the job and everything else that can better prepare
you. This is so when it comes, you would not be taken aback by the
