7. How PARiM helps
● PARiM has three access portals for staff, management and clients.
● Clients can see how an event has been staffed, that all shifts were fulfilled
and can authorise the hours painlessly and efficiently online.
● Using the client portal, the security company provider can demonstrate that
their staff that undertook shifts on a particular event was as agreed and had
the necessary qualifications e.g SIA badges and first aid certificates.
● The client portal enhances how a company can manage its customer
relationship allowing feedback and interaction and removing time spent
within the customer's business authorising timesheets and checking invoices.
● It can also act as a selling tool by offering the same visibility, openness ,
interaction and decreasing the time spent by the client authorising timesheets.

resources to meet its current and future obligations.
The SIAApproved Contractor can demonstrate:
4.1 That it has suitable financial resources to manage its financial
obligations
4.2 Strong financial processes to safeguard the interests of its stakeholders
4.3 That it carries the required business insurance
4.4 That it understands the market place and has financial plans to meet its
strategic direction

9. How PARiM helps
● The system allows the input of staff pay rates by job and staff
charge out rates - this allows for the constant checking and
monitoring of the gross margin.
● The continual monitoring of gross profit by the system enables
the management to focus on making profit and continuing to
safeguard the interests of all stakeholders.
● Whilst the system does allow the uploading of the company’s
valid insurance certificate and for the relevant contacts to be
input should the need arise, it doesn’t force the company to
have a certificate nor ensure they have one.

industry standards.
The SIAApproved Contractor can demonstrate:
5.1 That it has effective management information systems for
all aspects of its business with appropriate back-ups and
contingencies
5.2 That it has the required premises, procedures and
equipment to conduct business effectively

11. How PARiM helps

6.2 That it trains and develops its people to deliver customer satisfaction and
added value to an agreed standard
6.3 That its people are provided with appropriate benefits and welfare
arrangements
6.4 That it has an appraisal and development system that encourages its
employees to improve themselves
6.5 That it meets the requirements of the Working Time Directive

13. How PARiM helps
● PARiM allows staff details, CV’s, appraisal documents, staff meeting notes
or audio files and job specifications to be uploaded and attached to a staff
member.
● You can also store and monitor qualifications, certificates and training notes
and attach site specifications so that there is a clear understanding of the site's
work requirements.
● The staff portal allows interaction with the staff in terms of work flow
through automatic notifications, holiday requests and absences. The system
accurately records the clocking in/out of staff to a specific job and can
therefore accurately calculate any shift or hour based pay.
● The weekly/ monthly view of shifts and the worksheet viewer together with
the report writer enables the management and staff to monitor their hours and
keep within the Working Time Directive.

17. How PARiM helps
PARiM doesn’t specifically help with this, however -
it can enable the whole staff/ workforce management
system to become paperless, thus eliminating paper
within a security business, time and resource and
some from the customer.

18. Criterion 9 – Results
An SIAApproved Contractor measures, understands and improves its achievements in
relation to all stakeholders and adopts a continual improvement policy.

19. How PARiM helps
● The key in a security business is the monitoring of its gross margin and
feedback from customers. The system allows the margin to be
monitored on a staff/ job by job basis and encourages the clients to
feedback via the client access portal.
● By using PARiM and advertising the fact the security company can be

● Absence, managing holiday requests and the tracking of these is also
