The document describes the creation of a magazine design for LASWAP schools. The designer first created a headline using a custom font with school colors. An image of Oliver was added with a dry color effect. A strapline conveyed that the magazine shares weekly school news. Blue rectangles were used to add conventions like interviews and sports at the top and bottom to inform readers of magazine contents. The school website was included at the bottom so readers could access more information. Finally, sample stories were teased to conclude the design.

1. Part 1
I started off by putting my headline “GUIDE TO LASWAP”. I did this by
downloading a font from http://www.dafont.com/ then I used this font to
crate the twisted design of the headline. I then changed the colours to the
different colours of the LaSWAP schools such as red for Acland
Burghley, Green for La Saint Union, purple for parliament hill and blue for
William Ellis.
Part 2
I then added in a picture of oliver which we took in class. I used this image
because it looked most effective, I also added in a dry colour effect which
changed the image.
Part 3
After that I added in the strap-line “Weekly School News
from LASWAP”. I did this to show that the use and
gratification of my magazine is as surveillance and to
convey the school news to the students.

2. Part 4
I then used the shape tool to add two rectangles onto the
magazine, one at the top and one at the bottom, I coloured them
blue so that they stand out and so that it doesn’t clash with any
other colours. I did this so that I can add the conventions of the
magazine at the top, for example interviews, news, sports and
competitions.
Part 5
I then added in the conventions of the magazine to
Inform the audience about some of the things that are
in the LaSWAP magazine.
Part 6
I then added in the school website at the bottom of
the page so that people reading the magazine can go
on the website and contact the school in need of
anything.

3. Part 7
Finally I added in what stories are going to be in
the magazine and also some
