algorithms to maintain order, rank, and regulate content, search
results, and advertisements. Facebook, as an example, uses

algorithms, marketers know enough to traverse the path and
achieve goals. However, they constantly change to
accommodate new parameters that influence social media
users to upload relevant and user-friendly high-quality content

A Major shift occurred in the algorithms of Facebook in 2018 when
Mark Zuckerberg announced
that the newsfeed would
show more content from social
circles of family and friends and
Facebook groups while there
will be less public content from

will be visible will have to meet
specific standards to encourage
valuable interaction between
people.

Initially, Twitter had a simple structure
for its timeline where tweets come up

factors like viewers' preferences.

tweets would be ranked according
to a relevance model, which tries
to assess how interesting and engaging they will be for viewers. A competent digital

time of tweets while ranking them. Recent and relevant content has higher

screen is ranked according to
