Selecting packages to install, select Packages : [A, AP, D, E, F, K, KDE, L, N, T,
TCL, X, XAP, XFCE, Y],
Select “terse” prompting mode
Wait as yout install completes
Skip USB Flash Boot
Select “expert” install for LILO
Keep this field empty, press “ok”
Press “no”, the safe choice
Again, select the safe choice
Choose MBR, the possibly unsafe choice.
Confirm the location to install LILO as follows:
Select no timeout.
Select “Begin”
Select “Install LILO”
Select “ps2” for mouse configuration.
Select “no” to not load the gpm program at boot
time.
Select “yes” to begin configuring your network.
Enter hostname “red”
Select DHCP for network type.
Since we were not assigned a hostname, click enter to advance.
Confirm all of the network settings.
The default services have been selected for you, press enter to advance.
Say no to custom screen fonts.
Set the hardware clock to UTC.
Select timezone “US/Eastern”
Set the default window manager as “kde”
Set up your root password.
Finally, install the software.
Reboot your system.
Reboot.
After you reboot, sign in to make sure everything was installed correctly.
