religion) might influence stereotypes? Explain, using an example to illustrate your point. -
Consider the role that social context plays in shaping stereotypes. For example, how World War
II negatively affected stereotypes about the Japanese. What other group stereotypes have
changed over time-positively or negatively-due to significant social change? - Were enslaved
people acculturated? Were they integrated? Under what conditions? How do acculturation and
integration relate to Blauner's distinction between immigrant and colonized minorities?
