3-D glasses use binocular vision and polarized or color-filtered lenses to allow each eye to see a slightly different image from the screen, mimicking depth perception. This gives the illusion of 3D by coordinating two projected images. Polarized glasses provide a higher quality experience than red/blue filters by using polarized light levels. Having two eyes allows our brain to merge the separate images into a single image with depth and perspective.

• Uses 2 projectors, with different polarization level to display an

• Each of the lenses picks up the image the image with the
polarization of that respected projector
• Offers a high quality viewing experience

• Quality is not as good as Polarized
• One projector displaying 2 images with a red and blue filter
• Color filters are picked up by the eye with the matching lense

• With having 2 eyes our brain produces a singular
image from 2 visual points
