L’hort d’aquest curs no es cap novetat, més aviat és la continuació de les
moltes i discretes experiències que moltes classes han anat fent al llarg dels
anys en els patis interiors, aprofitant testos, jardineres, hortets construïts amb
amb portes i plàstics... És la continuïtat de l’hort del curs 2008-2009.
El curs passat va ser el d’arrencada d’un espai específic destinat a l’hort
escolar amb la idea d’aprofitar col·lectivament el que feien els diferents grups,
i treure’n major rendiment científic, pedagògic i social.
Es van plantar pèsols, faves, carabasses,
patates, cebes, pastanagues, cols, enciams
de dues menes, julivert, tomàquets, un ave-
llaner i... Tal vegada alguna cosa més.

S’ha ampliat l’espai de conreu: com es pot veure hi ha dues parcel·les separades

S’ha canviat la boca de rec existent a la parcel·la gran per una altra amb dues
sortides independents i se n’ha fet una idèntica per regar la parcel·la petita.
Dins de cada boca de rec hi ha dues sortides independents, la qual cosa pot
permetre utilitzar una per fer rec gota a gota, mentre l’altre fa d’aixeta per la mànega.
Aquest llibre de camp servirà per anar ensenyant
els canvis que es produeixin amb el pas dels dies a
qualsevol de les parcel·les de forma independent del
que a cada classe faci el seu mestre.
Esperem que sigui una bona eina didàctica i que els
alumnes més pagesos puguin passar bones estones.

Veiem que les faves han passat unes bones festes de Nadal.
Gairebé han germinat totes sense dificultat i les comencem a veure
crescudes.
Els enciams “fulla de roure” estan creixent bé, llàstima que
s’han mort dos. Els enciams “maravilla” són més lents i algun sembla
picotat per algun ocell.
Les cols realment fan pena, només els queden el nervis de les
fulles. Un pagès ens ha informat que segurament són les tórtores o
els coloms que venen a menjar quan trenca el dia.

Sortim a observar com estan les hortalisses: Les cols estan menjades, molt
menjades.
Dos enciams “fulla de roure” s’han
mort.
Les faves continuen creixent bé,
excepte una mata que sembla més
petita i escarransida.
Hi ha un parell de mates de pèsols
que sembla que estan sortint.
Les bledes aguanten totes molt bé, tot i que hi ha alguna que està un pèl ratada.
S’ha netejat la parcel·la petita de les herbes espontànies o “males herbes”
A la parcel·la grossa hem trobat entre les “males herbes” algun tomàquet petitó, un
parell de patates i tres pastanagues. Són el resultat de llavors que van caure de les
hortalisses plantades el curs anterior.

Els alumnes d’una altra classe del c. superior
han sortit a plantar unes cols i coliflors que ens ha
donat el conserge de l’escola, el sr. Santos. També
han sembrat un parell de fi- leres de faves en un
solc i en el solc següent han plantat pèsols, direc-
tament a terra, fent un forat amb el punxó i ficant-
-hi un parell o tres de llavors.
Podrem veure la diferèn- cia de creixement entre
les faveres i pesoleres plan- tades al desembre
I les plantades un mes i mig més tard.

Avui els nens de segon de c.inicial hem fet plan-
ter. Consisteix en preparar una safata especial, que té
uns forats en forma de iogurts petitons, omplir-los de
terra bona, i fer un foradet al centre de cada recipient i
posar un parell o tres de llavors.
Les safates les tindrem a la classe, perquè la
temperatura és més bona i les llavors estaran més ben
cuidades.
Una classe hem plantat “grelos” i l’altra hem
plantat cols. Els “grelos” són les fulles d’una mena de
naps. Les llavors han estat un regal de l’escola Santo
Estevo del poble de Parga, que està a la província de
Lugo a Galícia. És una escola petita, d’un poble petit
amb la qual fem el projecte “EL PATIO DE MI COLE”.
Les dues menes de llavors són molt petites.

Resulta molt curiós que en tan
sols 8 dies, una llavor tan me-
nuda ha pogut créixer d’aques-
ta manera.
Aquestes són les safates on vam plantar els “grelos”-
-naps. Les vam posar al costat del radiador, sota la finestra, i els hem regat quan ens ha
semblat que estaven secs i els faltava aigua.

Avui hem tingut una molt bona notícia. Esperonats per les ganes de plantar dels
menuts del c. inicial i com ha coincidit que aquests dies està fent molt fred, l’escola ha
decidit que podríem comprar un hivernacle per fer planter.
Dit i fet: ja l’hem encarregat i si no ens
falla el tindrem en pocs dies. Serà com a-
aquest i només falta que ens arribi .
El sr. Santos s’encarregarà de fer un
terra de fusta, per aïllar-lo del terra que
pot estar molt fred a l’hivern i molt calent
durant els mesos de més calor.
L’esperem amb molt il·lusió!!!

Plantada de maduixeres i bulbs de flors a càrrec de les classes petites del c.inicial.
Primer cal preparar les jardineres i els micro-hortets dels patis interiors. Dóna molta
feina perquè s’han de treure les “males herbes” i afegir-hi terra adobada. Aquesta acti-
vitat agrada molt i hi ha molt moviment. Un cop tot està a punt plantem les maduixeres i
enterrem els bulbs que normalment en diem “cebes” . Al final reguem.

Ara fa una mica més d’una setmana que vam plantar les cols. Ens han explicat que
són unes cols molt altes, amb una tija llarga i que se li van arrencant les fulles a mida
que van sortint.
No ens esperàvem que creixessin tant en tan pocs dies.
Les continuem tenint sota la finestra i vora el radiador.
Aquestes petites i rodo- netes boletes són les llavors
d’aquesta mena de col.
