Horseball is a sport created in Southwest France that combines elements of basketball, rugby, and polo. The goal is to score the most baskets in the opposing team's vertical hoops. It is played on a rectangular field that is 65 meters long and 25 meters wide, consisting of two 10-minute halves separated by a 3-minute break. Serious fouls are punished with a free shot at the basket from 5 meters away for the offended team, while less serious fouls allow the offended team to take a shot at the basket from 10 meters or start play from 15 meters. Minor infractions result in the offended team restarting play from midfield.
