There are three castes of honey bees: the queen, drones, and workers. A honey bee has three main body regions - the head, thorax, and abdomen. The worker bee's head contains compound eyes, antennae, mandibles, and a proboscis. The thorax contains flight muscles, four wings, and six legs. The abdomen contains organs for digestion, reproduction, and respiration as well as the worker and queen bees' stingers and the worker's wax glands.
