- #7 So let’s start. The world health organisation really shares with you some of the statistics about obesity and why there is such a need for the Herbalife Nutrition in the world Worldwide obesity has more than doubled since 1980 In 2014, more than 1.9 billion adults, 18 years & older, were overweight. Of these over 600 million were obese 39% of adults aged 18 years & over were overweight in 2014, & 13% were obese Take a look at the bottom one right here – 42 million children under the age of 5 were overweight or obese in 2013 and what I love most about herbalife is it has a ripple affect so you start the mum to feel better and eat healthy which then helps the husband to feel better and eat healthy and then it helps the children to feel better and eat healthy and then it takes them out of that 42 million category of overweight children Obesity is preventable and so that’s why we do what we do.
- #17 We get this question all the time. It’s not just about weight loss and it’s not just about drinking shakes. Its really about adding value into the community and teaching them how eat healthy, how to live a healthy active lifestyle and everything that is encompassed with living a healthy active lifestyle
- #18 Herbalife wasn’t started by a group of businessmen sitting around a table trying to work out how to make money in the health and nutrition business, it was started by a tragedy in a young mans life and that man’s name was Mark Hughes. His mother was a part-time model and actress always trying to look good for the cameras was always on a diet. She tried all sorts of crazy diets and eventually went to the doctors who gave her prescription weight loss drugs, which worked really well, as it was basically speed and it is still available on the market today. But this had some side effects where she couldn’t sleep at night. So she went to other doctors behind the origional doctors back and got some sleeping tablets and when amrk was jst 18 and Jo Anne was 36 she had an accidental overdose. Mark decided that nobody should have to go through what his mother did to lose weight. So he started working in some nutrition companies. In the mid ‘70’s when china was trying to break down “the bamboo curtain’ on trade with the US Mark was invitied to a Chinese Herbal symposium. Where he saw the wonders on Chinese Herbology. He went and studed in China and whilst there he thought if I could combine the ancient wisdom of Chinese Herbology with Western food science and technology he could take a product to the market that was safe for people to lose weight. On arrival bakck in the US he Met Dick Marconi of DK industries who was then the largest vitamin manufacturer, Dick saw the fire in his belly and the pasion in his eyes and decided to take a ticket on Mark and in February 1980 Herbalife was born. Mark needed a customer so he went to his Grandma and said “Granny your fat get on the products” and Grandma Mimi started on the products. And everywhere she went people noticed how much weight she was losing and gave mark 20 customers in his first month. In the first month out of the boot of his car Mark sold $23,000 worth of products. In the first year the company made $2 Million, the 2nd year $10 million , then $48 Million, then $55 million and Herbalife was the fastest growing privately held company in US corporate History. Just 8 years to reach their 2nd Billion Last year we did 6.4 Billion dollars worth of sales and this year its going to go WAY past that! …and apparently theres a Global Financial Crisis!! Not for Herbalife!!
- #26 So it’s pretty exciting so you’re okay – this is awesome, and I’m going to share some stories with you in a second but here is just a few ways that as Herbalife coaches we get paid So if you’re on the call and you’re like oh my gosh – I love my Herbalife program; everyone keeps asking, my husband keeps stealing my shakes, my sister keeps asking what am I doing and she wants to get started Theres a few different things you can do. So no 1 – getting in the best shape of your life – it’s the best product results you can do, and if you want a part time income, teaching others how to get really really great results is a great action for you to take. So write down no 2 on your paper go back to your coach and I really want to get in the best shape of my life and help some other people like my sister do that too. And action no 3 is If you want fulltime income, which means you are going to teach other people teach other people how to get healthy. So not only are you getting healthy but you are teaching others how to get healthy – there’s just a lot of helping people going on right there
- #29 So what are you options in seeing this: Ok are I can remain a retail client I really want to continue working with my coach I like the products, I like having the shakes at home. My favourite is berry but I’d really like to try the new mint choc flavour; that’s great information to give to your coach and they can help you do that OR You can say I’m loving these produdcts so much my husband wants to try them my kids are drinking shakes too and then my sister is asking me also – so I might want to become a Client Member and get a 25% discount and still continue to receive that coaching though. I love discount but I want to make sure that my coach is still checking up on me and I have someone I can ask questions to. OR the 3rd option is to become a coach member And start at the 25% profit level and really start to begin to create an income through helping people within your community and again, write down what option works for you and take it back to the person who invited you here and they can help you set up a plan that works with whatever option you choose They are all really really great.
