3. SPINTE INFLAZIONISTICHE
L’inflazione dell’area Euro si attesta a Luglio 2021 al 2.2%
Potremmo assistere a performance deludenti quando non negative sulle maggiori asset class
presenti nei portafogli di HNWI e Family Office, in caso di rialzo strutturale dell’inflazione. Sarà
necessario nei prossimi mesi un profondo cambiamento nell’asset allocation, riducendo
l’esposizione ad asset classes più sensibilii al rialzo dei tassi
L’ipotesi di un rialzo dei tassi di interesse
potrebbe raffreddare l’attuale ripresa post-
covid e incidere anche sugli investimenti
azionari.
4. PORTAFOGLI DEI FAMILY OFFICE
Una recente ricerca di UBS mette in evidenza
l’attuale composizione dei portafogli dei
family office, a seguito di un sondaggio
internazionale,da questa si evince che una
quota importante (46%) dei portafogli è già
destinata ad investimenti alternativi, il rischio
dell’aumento dell’inflazione e il pericolo del
rialzo dei tassi si scontra però con la
aggressiva ricerca di rendimenti superiori,
cosa potrebbe quindi rappresentare un
approccio più audace nella caccia ai
rendimenti?
5. INVESTIMENTI BASATI SULLA SCARSITA’
L’oro è sempre stato visto come un’asset di
protezione dai rischi inflazionistici,
principalmente perché è un bene scarso in
natura, e universalmente riconosciuto come
bene di valore;
I Crypto Assets, come il Bitcoin, hanno
caratteristiche di scarsità ancora superiori
all’oro e stanno progressivamente venendo
riconosciute come unità di conto per scambi
commerciali.
Questa nuova Asset Class viene già vista da
molti HNWI e Family Office come un hedge
(protezione) al rischio inflazione, oltre ad
essere la classe d’attivo più performante degli
ultimi dieci anni e soprattutto de-correlata
dalle altre Asset Classes.

11. COME ESPORSI ALLE CRIPTO
L’inserimento in portafoglio di criptovalute può
avvenire mediante acquisti del “fisico” attraverso
Exchange, attualmente operanti in attesa di una
regolamentazione, con le difficoltà nella
gestione e deposito dell’asset, oppure attraverso
l’acquisto di prodotti finanziari autorizzati.
Attualmente la normative non permette a fondi
UCITS o ETF ad investire in Crypto Assets, quindi
gli strumenti finanziari disponibili sono ETN o AIF
Mentre l’acquisto del “fisico” ed ETN espongono
gli investitori al citato rischio derivante dalla
volatilità e drawdown, esistono AIF (Alternative
Investment Funds) che offrono strategie mirate
ad una gestione attiva e prudenziale.

13. PERCHE’ SCEGLIERE UN FONDO CRYPTO
CON STRATEGIA QUANT?
37% dei Fondi Crypto utilizzano strategie
quantitative, seguiti da Fondi discrezionali
long/short (28%), discrezionali long-only (20%),
e multi-strategy (11%).
E’ evidente che un investimento in Crypto
Assets, che non hanno un Fair Value Price
derivante da una valutazione fondamentale
(come per esempio per le azioni), necessiti di
analisi e modelli innovativi e nuovi.
Grazie ai modelli quantitativi si possono
ottenere investimenti con un rischio
nettamente inferiore all’esposizione in Bitcoin,
per cui i gestori di portafoglio li preferiscono
ad una strategia che replica passivamente
l’andamento delle cripto
15. UNO SCENARIO
Per chi fosse ancora scettico sull’impatto dei
Crypto Assets sul futuro dei mercati finanziari,
lasciamo qualche spunto di riflessione per
immaginare il futuro degli investimenti:
Potremmo assistere nel prossimo futuro a
gestioni digitalizzate e “tokenizzate”. La strategia
di un Fondo potrà esser rappresentata da un
Token.
Il denaro “Fiat” e investimenti in Crypto saranno
in un Wallet in mano al cliente o all’intermediario,
vedendo così semplificato l’acquisto e la
liquidazione di una strategia di investimento.
La semplificazione e l’efficientamento dei costi
per accedere a strumenti di investimento porterà
sicuri benefici al settore.
