Minar-e-Pakistan is a tall minaret in Lahore built to commemorate the 1940 Lahore Resolution demanding the creation of Pakistan. It reflects Mughal and modern architecture. Badshahi Mosque in Lahore was built in 1673 by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb and can accommodate over 55,000 worshippers, making it the second largest mosque in Pakistan. Mizar-e-Quaid in Karachi contains the graves of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other Pakistani leaders. Faisal Mosque in Islamabad is one of the largest mosques in the world and an iconic landmark of the city.
