Drupal - Content Types, Views = No Query HeadachesEdward Meehan
This document discusses using content types and views in Drupal to capture custom information in a flexible way without having to write complex SQL queries. It provides an example of capturing refresh event information like title, date, members, and coffee consumed. In Drupal, this can be done by creating a content type with corresponding fields, and then views can be used to filter, sort and organize the content in different ways without coding. Relationships can also connect users and content for more advanced queries and tracking of connections between people and events.
This document provides a list of 9 online resources for creating and finding rubrics. The resources include websites that offer rubric templates on topics such as oral presentations, writing, math, and multimedia assignments, as well as sites that have examples of different types of pre-made rubrics for evaluating student work.

The document discusses the 90/10 principle, which states that 10% of life is made up of external events outside our control, while 90% is determined by our reactions to those events. It provides an example of how reacting negatively to a spilled cup of coffee can ruin the whole day, while responding positively avoids stress and conflict. The key message is that while we cannot control what happens, we can control how we respond, which significantly impacts our experiences. Applying the 90/10 principle by not letting negative external events affect us can result in a more positive and stress-free life.

Like Minds 2010 Social Media Operationalization PresentationOlivier Blanchard
The document discusses how organizations can better integrate social media by focusing on objectives over tactics. It recommends a three-step process: 1) developing a strategy by identifying goals and key departments, 2) operational deployment including training and infrastructure, and 3) ongoing management and execution including community management, crisis response, and measurement. Properly integrating social media requires defining objectives first before tactics, and coordinating roles across departments rather than relying on one social media manager.
The document summarizes the design of an unmanned cargo transportation system called Major Tom that will deliver materials from low Earth orbit to the lunar surface in support of a lunar base. Major Tom consists of an ion propulsion engine, a cargo capsule, and a lunar lander. The ion engine and lander will launch together on a Falcon 9 Heavy rocket and rendezvous with multiple cargo capsules launched separately. This document discusses the importance of decluttering both physically and emotionally. It argues that by holding onto useless objects, money, clothes, and negative feelings from the past, one is preventing new opportunities from entering their life. In order to make room for prosperity and peace, the document advises getting rid of anything old and unused in both one's home and oneself. Maintaining an attitude of hoarding stagnates life, so the document encourages letting go of what is no longer colorful or bright to allow the new to enter.
This document discusses considerations for organizations prior to working with digital strategy and tech consultants. It emphasizes assessing needs, audiences, goals, and how technology aligns with mission. Projects should be affordable and integrate systems to avoid duplicate records and data errors. An example case study of Hillel of Greater Philadelphia is given, which implemented an integrated system allowing students to RSVP for events, track attendance and interests across their engagement to support fundraising. The key takeaways are to take a step back, understand needs and audiences, ensure goals and affordability, and favor integrated systems for consistency and data accuracy.

HCL Notes and Domino License Cost Reduction in the World of DLAUpanagenda
Webinar Recording: https://www.panagenda.com/webinars/hcl-notes-and-domino-license-cost-reduction-in-the-world-of-dlau/
The introduction of DLAU and the CCB & CCX licensing model caused quite a stir in the HCL community. As a Notes and Domino customer, you may have faced challenges with unexpected user counts and license costs. You probably have questions on how this new licensing approach works and how to benefit from it. Most importantly, you likely have budget constraints and want to save money where possible. Don’t worry, we can help with all of this!
We’ll show you how to fix common misconfigurations that cause higher-than-expected user counts, and how to identify accounts which you can deactivate to save money. There are also frequent patterns that can cause unnecessary cost, like using a person document instead of a mail-in for shared mailboxes. We’ll provide examples and solutions for those as well. And naturally we’ll explain the new licensing model.
Join HCL Ambassador Marc Thomas in this webinar with a special guest appearance from Franz Walder. It will give you the tools and know-how to stay on top of what is going on with Domino licensing. You will be able lower your cost through an optimized configuration and keep it low going forward.
These topics will be covered
- Reducing license cost by finding and fixing misconfigurations and superfluous accounts
- How do CCB and CCX licenses really work?
- Understanding the DLAU tool and how to best utilize it
- Tips for common problem areas, like team mailboxes, functional/test users, etc
- Practical examples and best practices to implement right away
Digital Banking in the Cloud: How Citizens Bank Unlocked Their MainframePrecisely
Inconsistent user experience and siloed data, high costs, and changing customer expectations – Citizens Bank was experiencing these challenges while it was attempting to deliver a superior digital banking experience for its clients. Its core banking applications run on the mainframe and Citizens was using legacy utilities to get the critical mainframe data to feed customer-facing channels, like call centers, web, and mobile. Ultimately, this led to higher operating costs (MIPS), delayed response times, and longer time to market.
Ever-changing customer expectations demand more modern digital experiences, and the bank needed to find a solution that could provide real-time data to its customer channels with low latency and operating costs. Join this session to learn how Citizens is leveraging Precisely to replicate mainframe data to its customer channels and deliver on their “modern digital bank” experiences.
