Unformatted Preview Leadership Theory 1. Transformational Theory. The leader takes the
initiative of connecting with the other team members in a manner that will raise the level of
morality and motivation (Bridges, 2019). They focus on doing what is right for a collective
good. The leader must be keen on the way he/she communicates to other people, i.e. look at
the choice of words and the behavior. They also inspire and motivate the team and
subordinates into being fruitful in the organization. They also invoke intellectual
stimulation in which team participants are made to think deeply and be able to come up
with solutions. Moreover, leaders encourage to have a different perspective in the way they
see and perceive like challenges, opportunities in an organization. Leaders are concerned
about individuals concerns and their contribution to the company. Implementation of
Leadership Theory in your Leadership Style Leadership theory influences the outcome As
the new CEO of the company, one must be determined to explore the transformational
leadership style in a new role. The goal should steer the company towards collective
success. Initially, will establish a vision that intrigues the employees to follow it. Then will
organize for meetings from time to time to communicate with subordinates and empower
them to act. Creating an active channel of communication will help bring together
employees and work towards achieving a collecting goal (Kohnen, 2009) or even for the
sake of societal gain like opening a community center. During the meetings, will also
challenge their contributions and assumptions towards the solutions they contribute to
issues to make them think through and be more creative. Above all, as the CEO of the
company, individualized concern to every employee should be taken care of. Upon
implementation of Transformational theory in the day to day activities in a company,
success can be witnessed. It will lead to the formation of working teams that are focused
and creative in the task they undertake for the company. It can increase the cohesiveness
and lead to a harmonious working relationship among the employees and their superiors.
The company will be able to reach and surpass the set goals and targets, leading to a high
return of investment. 2. Servant Leadership Theorygoes to the extent to which a leader has
to set aside his self-interest and focus on serving others. It also involves giving the
subordinates the chance to make decisions on their own for the betterment of the company
operations. Servant leaders delegate responsibilities to group members to make their own
decisions, although it is especially useful when working with highly qualified
experts(Nohria & Khurana, 2014). Servant leadership is all about caring and being
concerned for the wellbeing of others. 3. Adaptive Leadership Theory.In this theory, the
leaders should be available for the employees during tough times and also be in such a
position that they have to come up with short-term solutions to ease challenges affecting
the organization. The leader is tasked with mobilizing the subordinates to press on and
continue working hard in tough times (Dugan, 2016). When employees are without a
definite solution to their issues, they tend to get demotivated and bored, leading to low
productivity in the organization. As the CEO of the company will be tasked with leading the
company in the right direction. It is through serving the interest of the company and being
concerned about the worker’s issues and challenges that will help the company grow.
Implementing the theory would be ideal for the organization. First, leading other managers
and subordinates by example will help in the adoption of the servant leadership style into
the way the company operates (Mahajan, 2011). Practicing the leadership style will inspire
employees also to endeavor to keep their selfinterest at bay and focus on serving humanity.
Being the Leader of an organization, have to up the game to ensure that the organization is
running well despite the challenges being faced. Talking with the employees and ensuring
there is effective communication between the top management and the subordinates is
critical in ensuring the organization meets its objective (Mango, 2018). Implementation of
the adaptive theory will help strengthen employees at the workplace and make them get
used to challenges. Leading the company as the CEO, applying consultative leadership style
through involving employees and encourage employees to keep the spirit of good work
without dwelling on the challenges faced by them. The theory will influence how the
subordinates will work towards meeting the company’s objectives. When leaders lead by
example, the team followers are left with no alternative but to corporate and work together.
Although the implementation of the theory comes with challenges like some employees,
tend to blame each other for poor decision making and lead to a lack of motivation among
them The adaptive leadership theory will influence the outcome in the operations
concerning the company. There will be a steady improvement in the way employees adapt
to work and are eager to complete the tasks assigned to them at the workplace. How the
theory influences success in the organization is a key achievement for the CEO. Employees
have a culture of adapting to severe challenges in the company is destined for success. Q)

The leader takes the initiative of connecting with the other team members in a manner that will raise the level of morality and motivation (Bridges, 2019). They focus on doing what is right for a collective good. The leader must be keen on the way he/she communicates to other people, i.e. look at the choice of words and the behavior. They also inspire and motivate the team and subordinates into being fruitful in the organization. They also invoke intellectual stimulation in which team participants are made to think deeply and be able to come up with solutions. Moreover, leaders encourage to have a different perspective in the way they see and perceive like challenges, opportunities in an organization. Leaders are concerned about individuals concerns and their contribution to the company. Implementation of Leadership Theory in your Leadership Style Leadership theory influences the outcome As the new CEO of the company, one must be determined to explore the transformational leadership style in a new role. The goal should steer the company towards collective success. Initially, will establish a vision that intrigues the employees to follow it. Then will organize for meetings from time to time to communicate with subordinates and empower them to act. Creating an active channel of communication will help bring together employees and work towards achieving a collecting goal (Kohnen, 2009) or even for the sake of societal gain like opening a community center. During the meetings, will also challenge their contributions and assumptions towards the solutions they contribute to issues to make them think through and be more creative. Above all, as the CEO of the company, individualized concern to every employee should be taken care of. Upon implementation of Transformational theory in the day to day activities in a company, success can be witnessed. It will lead to the formation of working teams that are focused and creative in the task they undertake for the company. It can increase the cohesiveness and lead to a harmonious working relationship among the employees and their superiors. The company will be able to reach and surpass the set goals and targets, leading to a high return of investment. 2. Servant Leadership Theorygoes to the extent to which a leader has to set aside his self-interest and focus on serving others. It also involves giving the subordinates the chance to make decisions on their own for the betterment of the company operations. Servant leaders delegate responsibilities to group members to make their own decisions, although it is especially useful when working with highly qualified experts(Nohria & Khurana, 2014). Servant leadership is all about caring and being concerned for the wellbeing of others. 3. Adaptive Leadership Theory.In this theory, the
  • 2. leaders should be available for the employees during tough times and also be in such a position that they have to come up with short-term solutions to ease challenges affecting the organization. The leader is tasked with mobilizing the subordinates to press on and continue working hard in tough times (Dugan, 2016). When employees are without a definite solution to their issues, they tend to get demotivated and bored, leading to low productivity in the organization. As the CEO of the company will be tasked with leading the company in the right direction. It is through serving the interest of the company and being concerned about the worker’s issues and challenges that will help the company grow. Implementing the theory would be ideal for the organization. First, leading other managers and subordinates by example will help in the adoption of the servant leadership style into the way the company operates (Mahajan, 2011). Practicing the leadership style will inspire employees also to endeavor to keep their selfinterest at bay and focus on serving humanity. Being the Leader of an organization, have to up the game to ensure that the organization is running well despite the challenges being faced. Talking with the employees and ensuring there is effective communication between the top management and the subordinates is critical in ensuring the organization meets its objective (Mango, 2018). Implementation of the adaptive theory will help strengthen employees at the workplace and make them get used to challenges. Leading the company as the CEO, applying consultative leadership style through involving employees and encourage employees to keep the spirit of good work without dwelling on the challenges faced by them. The theory will influence how the subordinates will work towards meeting the company’s objectives. When leaders lead by example, the team followers are left with no alternative but to corporate and work together. Although the implementation of the theory comes with challenges like some employees, tend to blame each other for poor decision making and lead to a lack of motivation among them The adaptive leadership theory will influence the outcome in the operations concerning the company. There will be a steady improvement in the way employees adapt to work and are eager to complete the tasks assigned to them at the workplace. How the theory influences success in the organization is a key achievement for the CEO. Employees have a culture of adapting to severe challenges in the company is destined for success.
