This document summarizes a femtosecond transient absorption experiment measuring the dynamics of nickel tetra-sulphonato-phenyl-porphyrin (NiTPPS) in water. The experiment used a 1 kHz Legend Elite laser system at 400 nm pumping and a single probe channel to monitor the absorption of NiTPPS over timescales ranging from femtoseconds to seconds. Graphs are presented showing the probe spectrum, absorption dynamics on linear and logarithmic timescales, and kinetics at various probe wavelengths.
