Heart failure is defined as a complex clinical syndrome resulting from the impairment of ventricular function, leading to symptoms such as dyspnea and fatigue, with a global prevalence of around 21 million adults. The etiology of heart failure in India is primarily due to uncontrolled hypertension and ischemic heart disease, with a rising incidence expected. Diagnosis and management guidelines emphasize the use of various biomarkers, imaging techniques, and tailored therapeutic approaches to improve clinical outcomes and reduce hospitalizations.
