Hindustan Computer Limited (HCL) is a global technology company headquartered in Noida, India. It was founded in 1976 under the name Microcomp Limited by Shiv Nadar and others to manufacture computers. In August 1976, it was renamed Hindustan Computer Limited. HCL operates in 34 countries and has over 80,000 employees. Shiv Nadar remains the founder and chairman of HCL and its vision is "together we create the enterprises of tomorrow" while its mission is "to provide world class IT solutions and services."

 In 1976, Shiv Nadar, Arjun Malhotra, Subhash Arora,
Badam Kishore Kumar, T.V Bharadwaj And Arun Kumar H
jointly started a company named microcomp limited.
 The venture was focused on designing and manufacturing of
scientific calculators, it provided its founders money to start
a company that focused on manufacturing computers
 Hindustan computers limited was set up in aug. 11, 1976.
 Hcl technologies is one of the four companies under hcl
corporation, the second company being hcl infosystems. In
february 2014 HCL launched HCL healthcare.HCL talentcare
is the fourth and latest venture of HCL corporation.
