The Haudenosaunee tribe was originally formed by five groups - Mohawk, Cayuga, Onondaga, Seneca, and Oneida. They used weapons like tomahawks, bows, spears, and lances for hunting. They grew crops such as beans, squash, rice, corn, and potatoes and hunted animals including beaver, rabbit, deer, turkey, and bear. Men hunted for food while women took care of the family and children made crafts.
