Our Mission

Our mission is to deliver the best possible reliable services and
software solutions to help our clients improve IT efficiency and
maximize them organization bottom line.

1.3

Company Core Values

Experience has only confirmed what we already knew: that the key
to increasing the chances of success on IT projects is to look after
and get the most out of people, processes, and products. This is
what we believe in most:
Company
Introduction
 People. Find people who know the product and can work in the
process. Keep investing in knowledge transfer and staff training,
and the value of the company will keep growing, too.
 Process. Manageable and transparent processes represent the
foundation of long term win-win partnerships with our customers.
 Project. Promote the latest software development technologies.
Help customers use them. Encourage customer involvement at all
development stages.
 Product. Always keep the product in focus. Respond in a rapid and
flexible manner to customer requests.

1.4

How we work

 Handling project requirements
 Project planning
 Performed project analysis

 Implementation phase
 Quality assurance
 Delivery and Acceptance

Based on these methodologies which are tailored to fit the
Harvestech business challenges, our development process covers
the lifecycle of a solution from project kick-off through to live
deployment.
Our development process allows us to create and maintain software
solutions iteratively within predictable budgets and schedules, due
to our progressive understanding of the requirements and the
business settings of our customers.

In order to present you our working methods and the reasons for
choosing each approach we have to enumerate the very important
things and values that we believe in, trust and respect:
 Clear methodologies
 Communication
 Specialization

 Meeting the deadlines
 Transparency
 Client’s satisfaction

1.4.1 Internal methodologies
Although we consider ourselves a dynamic company, capable to
evolve and respond to any new challenges of the IT market, we also
believe in creating, maintaining and improving clear ways to achieve
the company goals. From this point of view we have implemented
here a dynamic and evolving set of methodologies on which we
base all our activities on and try to apply in every aspect of our daily
work

Company
Introduction
Our development process allows us to create and maintain software
solutions iteratively within predictable budgets and schedules, due
to our progressive understanding of the requirements and the
business settings of our customers.
This approach leads to a flexible process, based on the following
phases and milestones:
 Envision
- Core team organized; Vision and scope drafted.
 Plan - Technology validation; Functional specification agreed;
Master plan agreed; Master schedule agreed; Development and
test environment set up.
 Build - Proof of concept complete; Internal build “n” complete;
Internal build “n+1” complete.
 Stabilize - Bug convergence; Zero bug bounce; Release
candidates; Pre-production test complete; User acceptance
testing complete; Pilot complete.
 Deploy - Core components deployed; Site deployments complete;
Deployment stable.

1.4.2 Specialization and Company Roles
Another very important value for our company that help us great to
achieve company’s excellent results is specialization. We believe
that one of our strengths is the unity and commitment of our team.
Each member of Harvestech team is a very good specialist in one of
the very important fields of software development:
 Design
 Project Management
 Development
 Quality Assurance
Together we all work to achieve and fulfill client’s expectations and
provide solid work and excellent quality.

1.4.3 Communication with our Clients
We consider communication process with our clients, one of the
most important aspects of our work, treating this with the same
respect as software development process for example.
Our methodology makes us to allocate a project manager for each
Harvectech client’s project. This person will be in charge (from
Harvestech side) with all the communication between us and our
client, along with all project and tasks understanding communicated
by our client.
The project manager will be the interface between the Harvestech
developers and the client..

4
Company
Introduction
Here are the standard communications channels that we like to
keep with our clients:

 Regular conference calls (over Skype or phone).
Usually we hold weekly conferences at same time of the week with
each of our clients. During these conferences we expect to review
last’s week activity and discuss some overview items regarding the
next one. Even more often conferences can be scheduled at any
time with the clients.
 Usage of Mantis System (Request Tracking System)
actually used by Harvestech). Each client project will have an entry
in our system, which will hold all established points for that project.
Our tracking system permits quickly tracing and monitoring any
clients request and status. Each person related with that project
(from our side or from client side) is getting a user and password in
our system, which will allow any of the following actions:
A. Report Items
B. Track status for existent ones
C. Analyze
D. Add notes or explanations
E. Change status for any registered point
 Emails
our clients can send us with any opportunity or circumstance, emails
regarding any aspect of projects. Our rule is to respond back within
less than 24 hours to any email. That means maybe not solving the
request from that email, but at least clearly explaining within our
response email, what we intend to do and how we schedule the
request solving.

5
Company
Introduction
1.4.4 Teamwork
For us, effective teamwork has always been the recipe for success.
The structure of each team is dictated either by overall company
needs (e.g. testing and technical documentation teams), or by the
specific needs of each project (i.e. project teams).
The most important outcome is that projects are set up with
maximum speed and resources are assigned flexibly, thus avoiding
bottlenecks when changes need to be implemented. The same
person may play more than one role within the same project team,
or may be involved in more projects at the same time. This way,
there is always the opportunity to improve and acquire new skills,
and nobody is missing out on the fun.

 Transparency and client information – due to our mutual agreed
estimations between us and our client and due to respect for
project planning and client’s information.

1.4.4 Benefits
To justify all the above aspects and considerations we will have to
answer who and how benefits of our exposed and trusted values.
While it is very easy to answer that the ones who benefits are
 Our clients
 Harvestech itself
we will try to present and explain the reasons for benefits.
 Quality work provided – due to our specialized people.
 Work provided on time and client’s deadlines fulfilled – due to
our clear planning and good communication.
 Costs efficiency – due to our proven methodologies we can
control and obtain rationalized costs which allow us to provide
good and competitive rates for our clients.

accounts. The balance 40% of your accounting information consists of
transactions like receipt, payment, journal and contra vouchers.

1.6.1 Retail Industry Related Services
It is a well-known fact that globalization as well as increased local
competition and difficult economic times are putting an enormous
pressure on retailers to deliver more with less. Increasing customer
expectations are also pushing retailers to revisit their business and
IT strategy in order to reduce costs and increase customer value and
loyalty. Harvestech’s approach is at the heart of this
dilemma: offering simple solutions for complex retail challenges.
offering top retail expertise is at the forefront of our business
strategy. Harvestech resources are skilled in all key areas of retail
operations: supply chain, warehouse and distribution operations,
store operations and finance. As your IT business partner,
Harvestech not only provides guidance and insight, we also help you
implement and support solutions that are vital for your organization,
such as:

 Customer Relationship
The overall goals are to nurture and retain existing customer and
constantly get new one, entice former customers back into the fold, and
reduce the costs of marketing. Your customers wants more choice. More
recognition. More responsiveness. More real-time transactions. And of
course a "loyalty card" that guarantees more (extra) benefits.

 HR and Payroll
Harvestech payroll helps you to record employee profile, attendance and
calculate the pay and deductions. It covers wages and salaries, overtime,
commission, bonuses, holiday pay, statutory payments and deduction

focus from customer service.

 Advance Retail Tools

(Excel, CSV, XML, PDF)

Company
Introduction
 Chain Store Management
You just need simple dial up or a broadband internet connection. No need
to have fixed IP or leased lines. The smart client technology allows each
location to work independently even if the internet connectivity is lost.
Whenever the connectivity is stored it syncs the data automatically with
head office.

 Mobile and Web based Reporting
Access reports from anywhere. Choose from various platforms. Use your
own server and database

 Scheme & Promotions
Scheme and Promotion produce very pronounced effects to retail
business. It is indisputable that Scheme and Promotion offer retail store a
series of benefits which other forms of marketing communications cannot
duplicate.

 Retail Analytics
A completely new approach for reports, designed from the ground-up –
Our Solutions reports are ultimate tool for organizing and analyzing your
business data. The report's main functionality is in its ability to summarize
large amounts of information, and represent it in a register and crosstabulated form. So, it is the best tool to create financial, stock and
statistical reports.
For instance, you can analyze sales during specific periods (years, quarterly
intervals, months) for each customer or each product category, or you can
create a report which will show the top 10 customers, by items purchased.
Another example is a report that displays the most or least popular
products.

 E-mail and SMS Notifications

  • 1. Company Profile Your IT Solution’s Partner
  • 2. Company Introduction 1.1 Who We Are Harvestech Business Management Solutions is an IT consulting, outsourcing, staffing, services and a wide range of information technology solutions provider, which started its business in Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2010. Harvestech Business Management Solutions success is founded on the values of high quality work performed by specialized people. We employ a comprehensive set of tools and skills to achieve the purpose and the goal of every customer business. Harvestech Business Management Solutions have five Partners from several countries working side by side to provide the best and the latest technologies to our customer. Sometimes we may need to adjust our technologies. Other times, we’ll need to bring new people in. At all times we will look for ways to become even better at what we do and we will never change our vision: to make our customers happy, and help them live a better life. With respect and passion for the projects we develop, we keep creating perspectives from which to be appreciated by our customers and partners. 1.2 Our Mission Our mission is to deliver the best possible reliable services and software solutions to help our clients improve IT efficiency and maximize them organization bottom line. 1.3 Company Core Values Experience has only confirmed what we already knew: that the key to increasing the chances of success on IT projects is to look after and get the most out of people, processes, and products. This is what we believe in most:
  • 3. Company Introduction  People. Find people who know the product and can work in the process. Keep investing in knowledge transfer and staff training, and the value of the company will keep growing, too.  Process. Manageable and transparent processes represent the foundation of long term win-win partnerships with our customers.  Project. Promote the latest software development technologies. Help customers use them. Encourage customer involvement at all development stages.  Product. Always keep the product in focus. Respond in a rapid and flexible manner to customer requests. 1.4 How we work  Handling project requirements  Project planning  Performed project analysis  Implementation phase  Quality assurance  Delivery and Acceptance Based on these methodologies which are tailored to fit the Harvestech business challenges, our development process covers the lifecycle of a solution from project kick-off through to live deployment. Our development process allows us to create and maintain software solutions iteratively within predictable budgets and schedules, due to our progressive understanding of the requirements and the business settings of our customers. In order to present you our working methods and the reasons for choosing each approach we have to enumerate the very important things and values that we believe in, trust and respect:  Clear methodologies  Communication  Specialization  Meeting the deadlines  Transparency  Client’s satisfaction 1.4.1 Internal methodologies Although we consider ourselves a dynamic company, capable to evolve and respond to any new challenges of the IT market, we also believe in creating, maintaining and improving clear ways to achieve the company goals. From this point of view we have implemented here a dynamic and evolving set of methodologies on which we base all our activities on and try to apply in every aspect of our daily work 3
  • 4. Company Introduction Our development process allows us to create and maintain software solutions iteratively within predictable budgets and schedules, due to our progressive understanding of the requirements and the business settings of our customers. This approach leads to a flexible process, based on the following phases and milestones:  Envision - Core team organized; Vision and scope drafted.  Plan - Technology validation; Functional specification agreed; Master plan agreed; Master schedule agreed; Development and test environment set up.  Build - Proof of concept complete; Internal build “n” complete; Internal build “n+1” complete.  Stabilize - Bug convergence; Zero bug bounce; Release candidates; Pre-production test complete; User acceptance testing complete; Pilot complete.  Deploy - Core components deployed; Site deployments complete; Deployment stable. 1.4.2 Specialization and Company Roles Another very important value for our company that help us great to achieve company’s excellent results is specialization. We believe that one of our strengths is the unity and commitment of our team. Each member of Harvestech team is a very good specialist in one of the very important fields of software development:  Design  Project Management  Development  Quality Assurance Together we all work to achieve and fulfill client’s expectations and provide solid work and excellent quality. 1.4.3 Communication with our Clients We consider communication process with our clients, one of the most important aspects of our work, treating this with the same respect as software development process for example. Our methodology makes us to allocate a project manager for each Harvectech client’s project. This person will be in charge (from Harvestech side) with all the communication between us and our client, along with all project and tasks understanding communicated by our client. The project manager will be the interface between the Harvestech developers and the client.. 4
  • 5. Company Introduction Here are the standard communications channels that we like to keep with our clients:  Regular conference calls (over Skype or phone). Usually we hold weekly conferences at same time of the week with each of our clients. During these conferences we expect to review last’s week activity and discuss some overview items regarding the next one. Even more often conferences can be scheduled at any time with the clients.  Usage of Mantis System (Request Tracking System) actually used by Harvestech). Each client project will have an entry in our system, which will hold all established points for that project. Our tracking system permits quickly tracing and monitoring any clients request and status. Each person related with that project (from our side or from client side) is getting a user and password in our system, which will allow any of the following actions: A. Report Items B. Track status for existent ones C. Analyze D. Add notes or explanations E. Change status for any registered point  Emails our clients can send us with any opportunity or circumstance, emails regarding any aspect of projects. Our rule is to respond back within less than 24 hours to any email. That means maybe not solving the request from that email, but at least clearly explaining within our response email, what we intend to do and how we schedule the request solving. 5
  • 6. Company Introduction 1.4.4 Teamwork For us, effective teamwork has always been the recipe for success. The structure of each team is dictated either by overall company needs (e.g. testing and technical documentation teams), or by the specific needs of each project (i.e. project teams). The most important outcome is that projects are set up with maximum speed and resources are assigned flexibly, thus avoiding bottlenecks when changes need to be implemented. The same person may play more than one role within the same project team, or may be involved in more projects at the same time. This way, there is always the opportunity to improve and acquire new skills, and nobody is missing out on the fun.  Transparency and client information – due to our mutual agreed estimations between us and our client and due to respect for project planning and client’s information. 1.4.4 Benefits To justify all the above aspects and considerations we will have to answer who and how benefits of our exposed and trusted values. While it is very easy to answer that the ones who benefits are  Our clients  Harvestech itself we will try to present and explain the reasons for benefits.  Quality work provided – due to our specialized people.  Work provided on time and client’s deadlines fulfilled – due to our clear planning and good communication.  Costs efficiency – due to our proven methodologies we can control and obtain rationalized costs which allow us to provide good and competitive rates for our clients. 6
