Harry Coumnas Explains Why Life Could Exist in Venus' Clouds
1. Harry Coumnas Talks About Why
He Thinks Life Thrives In Venus'
Mysterious Clouds
2. Harry Coumnas is a renowned astronomer,
who has made significant contributions to the
world of astronomy through his numerous
space missions and discoveries. Recently, he
was invited to the conference held in Germany
to discuss the possibility of life on Venus.
3. When asked about his opinion on the
possibility of life on this beautiful planet of our
Solar System, Harry Coumnas said,
“Personally, I have always felt that Venus is
one of the planets that get a lot of bad press.
Of course, as we all know that it is wrapped
in strongly acidic clouds and has a too high
temperature that can even melt lead, but
slightly above the Venus' cloud decks, there
are some earth-like conditions.”
4. “In fact, around 55 to 60 kilometers above the
Venus' surface, conditions are very
hospitable. Both pressure and temperature
are quite similar to that on Earth. Water-
vapor & even some amount of oxygen are
found there.”, he added.
5. About Harry Coumnas
Harry Coumnas is a well-known astronomer,
who was recently in Germany for a
conference that was held to discuss the
possibility of life on Venus. He came up with a
strong reasoning for why he feels that life
thrives in the mysterious clouds of this lovely,
yellow planet. After the conference, Harry
Coumans flew to the United States of America
to prepare for his sixth Mars mission. He
strongly believes that there are many places
besides earth where life originates.
