Alongside it, video game addiction is increasingly considered by some as a medical condition (American Psychiatric Association, 2007). With today’s youth estimated to spend an average of 10,000 hours playing video games, sending and receiving over 200,000 emails, watching over 20,000 hours of television, and 10,000 hours talking on digital phones before they turn 21 (Prensky, 2003) (McGonigal, 2010) ,[object Object]
