This document provides information for students attending Georgia Cyber Academy High School about various online learning resources and requirements: 1) It encourages students who received an invitation to the National Math Lab between October 1st and the present to accept the invitation to improve their math scores. 2) It asks all parents to fill out an administration survey about the online program. 3) It reminds students taking a World Language course to login to Powerspeak to complete their coursework. 4) It discusses attendance policies and requirements to log in daily to courses to avoid being reported for truancy for absences. 5) It informs students that small group sessions may become mandatory and require completing surveys with a provided code

8. Powerspeak Participation
 Ifyou are taking a WLG course then you
must login to Powerspeak!
 The WLG teachers have noticed that
Powerspeak participation is Low, please
login if you have a WLG course on your
schedule.

9. Attendance
 Remember that GCA is a public school and
still must follow all attendance policies of
any other school in the state. Therefore,
logging attendance regularly is a must!!!
 The LC logs attendance from their account
and this should be done daily. When you
accrue more than a few (3-5 days) of
absences that triggers teachers and
administration to start looking into why this is
occuring and if it is not remedied can lead
to you being reported for truancy.

10. Small Group Session Surveys
and Code Words
 Up until now small group sessions may or may not
have been mandatory but they can be made
mandatory by your homeroom or content teacher
based on your progress. Or they may be used in some
cases for extra credit, etc.
 At the end of each small group session for all subjects
you will need to fill out a participation survey using a
code word provided by your content teacher.
