This U.S. History course covers late 19th and early 20th century topics starting with the Civil War and Reconstruction era. Students will examine domestic issues like industrialization, immigration, and social reforms as well as foreign affairs like the Spanish-American War. The teacher is Mr. Beauparlant and students need a textbook, binder, and writing supplies. Students must participate in class, complete assignments on time, and can get extra help on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after school. Grades are based on tests, projects, classwork, homework, and notebook/participation.
