4. What's your general comment about 'Assessing students through online tools'? “ I find it very useful, enjoyable, interesting, dynamic and according to the XXI century demands.” “ I think it could be an alternative option for Ss needing remedial work, for example. However, I'm not so sure about its validity as something compulsory for ALL Ss.” “ I'd love to apply this but don't know how to do so.” “ It seems to be useful as long as it is not the only way to assess our sts.” “ It should be very well structured in order to get valid and reliable results” “ I have no idea how this can be done.”

A few pieces of advice Ask students about their experience with ‘afterschool’ learning. Make students responsible for the activity. If you have a strict syllabus, adapt and blend with activities online. Compulsory & boring  Fun, relevant & real. Don’t teach tech  Learn WITH your students.
“ It is the student’s job to use and know how to use technology. The job of the teacher is to assess the quality of that use.” Marc Prensky (2010)
