4. Observations and proposals -
 Although knowledge is steered by human and can’t be transferred from one
person to another like Information can but in this era where almost every
organization have their separate IT department, Information Technology has
become an indispensable enabler of KM.
 Since in India which is digitizing so rapidly not just private but Govt. sectors too
needs KMS(Knowledge management system). Since it’s not an easy task to
handle tremendous amount of data and to study it and make sage decisions.

work…
 Few months back “Knowledge management (KM)” term was new for me.
 Misconceptions in KM (like Information Mgmt. and Knowledge Mgmt.)
 Role of KM in Indian Business organization
 Technology as a trump card in KM process
 Initiatives at IT organizations in India
 Knowledge acquisition sources

6. Conclusion :
 From technology’s aspect only servers are big problem and then availability of data
which any organizations have to deal with.
 May be not completely but technology can make a huge difference in the
organizations’ growth. Since a well implemented IT- infrastructure escalate chances of
project’s success whereas a complex one may lead to project failure.
 The IT-industry is very much resource -oriented and thus it’s important to ensure that
knowledge in the minds of resources is safeguarded.
 knowledge management, if initiated and cultivated with all strategic intent and
supported by the top decision makers is going to bring positive change in the
organization-its people, process, and practices.
