Guns N' Roses is an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985. The original lineup consisted of Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin, Slash, Steven Adler and Duff McKagan. Their debut album Appetite for Destruction, released in 1987, was a huge commercial success. Internal tensions led to lineup changes over the years and the band splintered after 1994, with Axl Rose continuing as the only original member in the new Guns N' Roses.
