Ed Sheeran is an English singer and songwriter. He was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk. After signing with Asylum Records and releasing his debut album + in 2011, he spent much of 2013 opening for Taylor Swift's Red Tour in North America. His second album x was released in 2014 and won the Brit Award for Album of the Year in 2015. Sheeran's third album ÷ is scheduled for release in March 2017.
