The Who is an influential English rock band formed in 1964 consisting of Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle and Keith Moon. They were one of the most popular bands in England in the 1960s known for albums like "My Generation" and "Tommy." While the band went through lineup changes and breaks after the deaths of Keith Moon and John Entwistle, Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey have continued performing as The Who into the 2000s.
The Beatles were an English rock musical band that formed in Liverpool in 1960. With John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, they became widely regarded as the greatest and most influential act of the rock era. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as ‘Beatlemania’, but as their song-writing grew in sophistication they came to be perceived as an embodiment of the ideals shared by the era's socio-cultural revolutions. No band has influenced pop culture the way the Beatles have. They were one of the best things to happen in the twentieth century, let alone the Sixties.
A description of how The Beatles learnt to be creative musical innovators based on how they learnt to be p) hit recording artists, a) to collaborate with their peers, and h) to invent new forms of music making (playing the studio); and then how it ended when Brian Epstein died and they formed Apple Corps. Using Heutagogy & the PAH! Continuum to analyse the stages of development of their creativity
