This document provides guidelines for writing an assignment for a master's level research paper. It includes outlines for an introduction, problem statement, purpose statement, significance of the study, theoretical framework, limitations, and delimitations. The introduction should follow a deficiencies model including stating the problem, reviewing past studies and their deficiencies, and advancing the significance. The problem statement should define the problem addressing who, what, when, where and why. The purpose statement indicates why the researcher is conducting the study and what they intend to accomplish. The significance explains how the study will contribute to the literature and who will benefit. The theoretical framework provides the theory guiding the research.
