Prayer comes out of relationship with God. Jesus gave us a template to show us how to pray to our heavenly Father. The vital ingredient for any relationship is time. Unless we invest time in a relationship it does not grow but fades. The time we spend with the Father is never wasted.
Religion is a social institution that answers questions and explains the seemingly inexplicable. Religion provides explanations for why things happen and demystifies the ideas of birth and death. Religions based on the belief in a single deity are monotheistic. Those that encompass many deities arepolytheistic.

Fellowship is one of those buzz Christian words. Churches have
fellowship halls, fellowship meetings, and times of fellowship. But what
do we mean?
The Greek word is koinonia, which translates as partnership. The origin
of the word is koinonos, which means partner, sharer, and companion. In
short, it is a shared community that involves deep, close-knit
participation among its people. The picture then is not of a surface-level,
friendly fellowship but of a radical and almost intimate unity. And this is
the consistent teaching of the New Testament. The first occurrence of
koinonia in the Bible comes in Acts 2:42. The newly baptized believers
“devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship
(koinonia), to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Luke comments that
they, “had everything in common” as they sold property to give to
anyone in need, gathered regularly in the temple courts, and ate joyfully
in their homes (Acts 2:43-47). This is far more than formal nominal
Christianity. This is the real deal. And it’s attractive because it’s so real. God has saved us to belong to his new family, and the mark of true
belonging is an active love which sacrificially serves.
"This study seeks to explore, mainly from a biblical perspective, the entire scope of prayer. The goal is not merely to provide academic understanding, but the higher purpose of developing a corp of people who pray and who therefore make a difference for God in the world. As (we) are burdened and inspired to pursue dligently an active prayer ministry, (we) will enrich our lives, impact (our) our ministry to Christ and His Church, and consequently generate waves of spiritual influence to the ends of the earth." This is the first of an 13 week study
What is Covenant in the Bible Beginners Guide to Righteousness and Rest.pdfSister Lara
What is Covenant in the Bible Beginners Guide to Righteousness and Rest is one of three books in this series that contains a Teacher's Handbook and a Disciple's Journal to go with this book. What is Covenant in the Bible Beginners Guide to Righteousness and Rest shares the four sides of the cross and how God through Jesus reconciled Jesus as One to establish Covenant along with the quickening work of the Holy Spirit to make One the disciple in God as a new way of living.
Here, the disciple will learn the heavenly pattern of Covenant to acknowledge and understand that Covenant already positioned the disciple in Righteousness and Rest. At the end Sister Lara has dedicated the summary of these pages to the writings of the Apostle Paul in Roman's 1 where the Apostle mentioned that his co-laborers faith went around the world and that grace caused him to be an Apostle. Yet, the Apostle Paul said they were still missing what they needed to established in the presentation of the Gospel along with a spiritual gift to establish them in the Gospel. This gift that was missing was the righteousness of God in which the Apostle Paul said is the power of the Gospel in which he is not ashamed.
The purpose of this beginners guide to Covenant in Righteousness and Rest is to help God's people understand that Covenant is the foundation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and everything else, such as faith and grace are an overflow but these alone cannot stand on their own to establish the church or the new convert.
This set is designed to grow and establish the House Church, or help raise new House Group Leaders in the local assembly or the city wide church in the earth.

The question, “Does life have meaning and purpose” is as old as time. The culture we live in does not always help us live a good life. Christians believe that their faith makes sense and that it provides a path towards a meaningful life even if we have to struggle to understand how God wants us to live. We that our faith is trustworthy. It is the truth that gives meaning to life.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

Title: The Report on Guidance and Example of
a praying church
Lecturer: Dr. Mafuriranwa
School: AMFCC Victoria
Subject: Effective Praying
3. Introduction
The book “Guidance and Example of a praying Church” is a
book meant to guide the church on how to pray
It was written by Apostle E. H. Guti in 1995 and reprinted in
2014
It was published by EGEA Publications
It has a total of four chapters
The book talks of the types of prayer, (answered and
unanswered) drawing examples from the biblical figures.
4. What is in the book
Chapter one
Describes the prayer that can be answered
It uses Elijah as the example
This chapter explains that when God says
something it is important that people or the
church prays about it as was done by Elijah (I
Kings 18. 41)
5. Chapter 1 contd.
Prayer worrier must have the praying spirit
The chapter also warns about saying “Amen”
because others have said so
Their has to be something to we feel why we pray,
the burden of prayer
Prayer must be guided by the prayer, hence we
must seek the spirit of prayer
6. Chapter 2
This chapter talks about the intercessor
The book defines an intercessor as someone who takes the
position of another in prayer.
In this case, Moses is given as the example of the
intercessor Exodus 33.5
People should have the spirit of intercession to pray for
other people
The holy spirit is also our helper and intercessor because
we do not know how to pray
The book of Romans helps us to understand the role of the
Holy Spirit in our prayers
7. Chapter 2 Contd.
The praying church must be able to pray a strong prayer
Hannah is a very good example of an individual who said a
strong prayer
We are reminded that when we pray, the answer takes time to
come
It is also important to be angry with the enemy so that they will
not continue to provoke us
Weeping sometimes help to strengthen our prayers
Different people also pray different prayers, depending on
situations and the book highlights their characteristics.
It is said the prayers of such people is defined by what the
would have gone through.
8. Chapter 2 Contd.
When we are given work to do with God, we really need
to be diligent about it, Ex 5. 22
When we want to serve God we must have faith to keep
on to his promise
The faith involves action of doing
If we pray and the feedback is delayed, it means God
knows we are not able to handle it
God sometimes gives us things we have never asked for,
which is better, Acts 3. 2
As we pray, we must learn to speak to the problems we
face
9. Chapter 3
Chapter 3 warns of the dangers of quick prayer and vowing
We are taught of Mrs Rembo who vowed before the Lord, but was having a problem
fulfill her promise due to old age.
The bible also discourages vowing, Eccl. 5. 2-6.
The quick prayer is presented in such a way that it goes along with vowing, Judges
11. 30-35
We are also taught to pray united, as it helps to strengthen the prayer, Acts 4. 24-31
All prayers are answered if they are said in an unselfish desires, Mark 11. 24; 1 John
5. 14
The prayer must be supported by the scriptures, Eph. 4. 3, 13
The co-operate prayer is a prayer prayed from the clean heart, that communicates
between God and man, (Eph. 5.18; 2 Chron. 30. 27) and deepens the fellowship
between man and God, Psalm 42. 1-4
10. Chapter 3 contd.
The chapter also teaches us that the church bears the
burden of the nation, Ps. 119. 147
We are also taught that the pastor is a leader who should
lead in prayer and they must be prayerful
Prayers do not need to be controlled nor should they be
affected by false teaching. Emotional prayers disturb
others.
When we pray, we must praise God for the salvation and
redemption through Jesus Christ, rom. 8. 28; Eph. 5. 18; I
Ptr. 2. 9-21
Faith and prayer work together. Faith has to grow,
through the word of God. It gives birth to the prayer.
11. Chapter 4
This chapter begins by reminding Christians that the good news we read
in the bible were passed to us by those who have seen and witnessed
them
Since they have witnessed these things, they are inviting us to the
fellowship of what they have seen and experienced.
John, for example, calls for a fellowship of Christians
John talks of the word that transformed into man to make a fellowship,
and to become light of the truth, John 1. 9; 8. 12
John and Paul helps us to understand the Light of Christ, I John 1. 5; I
Thess. 5. 5.
It is in this context that Christians should fellowship in the light of God
Christans should also fellowship with God
12. Chapter 4 Contd.
“Fellowship” is derived from the Greek word ‘kononia’ which
means sharing, partnership and contribution
Apostle Paul uses kononia to mean mystical union with Christ
Fellowship is not just knowing God, but fellowship with Him.
Fellowship improves the relationship between man and God.
When people fellowship with each other, they cannot hide
between themselves, and such will be the relationship between
man and God
Walking in the light of God improves fellowship with God
When two people who fellowship with God meet, the spirit of God
will help them to feel oneness.
Christians must live peacefully in their homes so that their prayers
reach God
13. Chapter 4 Contd.
In as much as Christians fellowship among themselves, they also
need to fellowship with God
It is also important to fellowship with God before we pray and fast
It is also important to fellowship with God before preaching
It is easier for the devil to trick those who do not fellowship with
God
However, we are hinted not to forget to serve our families as we
try to fellowship with God because the Devil may use that chance
to derail us
Man was created to fellowship with God, and that will help people
to pray and understand God.
Laughing in the Spirit soothes the spirit and anger disappears.
14. What we Learn from the Book: Summary
When we pray we should expect answers from God
As Christians we have the duty to pray for our nations
and the church through intersession
We are helped to pray by the Holy Spirit
The book also teaches us how to pray a strong prayer, in
our respective situations.
The book also warns us on proper praying, as individuals
and as churches
We are also hinted on what hinder our prayers
Fellowship helps improve our relationship with God
15. Conclusion
The book “Guidance and example of a praying Church” has a
strong message to the modern church
Its four chapters are a pointer to the best way of praying, as it is
one way through which we communicate with God
Also, through prayer, most of our things become known to God,
and we also know what God expect of us
A praying church also fellowship with God to strengthen the
relationship
God is the light through which we must live as Christians
God loves us
