This document outlines a campus ministry module called "Endow Life with Meaning and Purpose!" The module is designed to help students explore how to ensure their lives and the lives of others have meaning and purpose as Christians. It includes an introduction, guiding questions, Bible passages for reflection, discussion activities in small groups, and a closing worship service and prayer. The overall goal is to reflect on how faith provides a path to a meaningful life and to design an outreach activity sharing this message with the community.

Sometimes there comes a time when we question ourselves about our impact, purpose and mission in life. What am I here for? How can I give my best contribution to the world while tapping into my fullest potential and sticking to my values? We intuitively know that there is indeed something greater to life but we haven’t identified it yet. Finding meaning in our lives is surely one of the most important journeys we will ever embark upon.

How to study the bible - Pastor Joseph V. TheluscaClint Brown
Power Point Presentation on the various ways to read and study the bible by Pastor Joseph V. Thelusca of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of the Oranges.
Fellowship is one of those buzz Christian words. Churches have
fellowship halls, fellowship meetings, and times of fellowship. But what
do we mean?
The Greek word is koinonia, which translates as partnership. The origin
of the word is koinonos, which means partner, sharer, and companion. In
short, it is a shared community that involves deep, close-knit
participation among its people. The picture then is not of a surface-level,
friendly fellowship but of a radical and almost intimate unity. And this is
the consistent teaching of the New Testament. The first occurrence of
koinonia in the Bible comes in Acts 2:42. The newly baptized believers
“devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship
(koinonia), to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Luke comments that
they, “had everything in common” as they sold property to give to
anyone in need, gathered regularly in the temple courts, and ate joyfully
in their homes (Acts 2:43-47). This is far more than formal nominal
Christianity. This is the real deal. And it’s attractive because it’s so real. God has saved us to belong to his new family, and the mark of true
belonging is an active love which sacrificially serves.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

and Purpose!
Introduction
The question, “Does life have meaning and purpose” is as old
as time. The culture we live in does not always help us live a
good life. Christians believe that their faith makes sense and
that it provides a path towards a meaningful life even if we
have to struggle to understand how God wants us to live. We
that our faith is trustworthy. It is the truth that gives meaning
to life.

Bible Study/Worship Center
For the Worship Center you will need: a Bible, candles (one
for every group), enough Bibles to form a row on the center
of the table, a chalice and a cross. You will also need a Bible
for every participant, adhesive tape, white paper, colored
markers, crayons, pencils, and/or pens and seven long sheet
of butcher-block paper.
Have the group gather to gather in a room that is comfortable
and yet has enough room for three groups. Place the
candle on a small table at the center of each group and light
the candle as the Lord’s Prayer is prayed.

28 We know that all things work together for good for those
who love God, who are called according to his purpose.

Exploring the Bible
“God has placed in the human heart a desire to know the
truth.”
“In the far reaches of the human heart there is a seed of
desire . . . for God.”

11. Endow Life with Meaning
and Purpose!
Bible Study/Life Has Meaning.
Human history reflects the fact that reality is open to many
interpretations. Since every interpretation has a different
existential outcome, we need to reflect honestly about our
beliefs. The meaning and purpose of our lives hangs in the
balance. Our desire to understand runs deep. One of the
chief markers of our humanity is the desire for significance.
Christians believe that world we live in points to something
beyond that puts things in perspective and gives meaning to
our lives; that no theory or interpretation is adequate unless it
affirms this experience of longing for the unknown. Blaise
Pascal spoke of this longing for more as a desire “to be filled
with something that is infinite and unchanging – in other
words, by God himself. God alone is our true good.”
12. Endow Life with Meaning
and Purpose!
Bible Study/Life Has Meaning.
The Christian view of reality is not just a set of ideas; it is
much more. It embraces our faiths, vision of hope, values
and trusts.
The Bible speaks of setting our hope on Christ, so that we
might live according to the glory of God. (Eph 5:12).
Divide the group into three small discussion groups. Have
each group address one question and prepare their
discussion notes for the whole group.
13. Endow Life with Meaning
and Purpose!
Bible Study/Life Has Meaning.
Why does the life of another human being matter?
Can we really make a difference?
Does the Christian community make a difference? Does our
shared witness make a difference?
After twenty minutes, each group can present their ideas to
the group as a whole, using the cardboard to express their
ideas. They can use art, Biblical passages, etc. After each
presentation, the entire group discusses the issue presented.
After all groups report the group seeks to make a statement
for the entire group. If they wish they can post all three
cardboard presentations in the room or create a single poster
for the entire group.
14. Endow Life with Meaning and
Purpose!
Bible Study/Life Has Meaning/Closing Prayer
Close with prayers of thanksgiving. Invite each person to
share with the group something for which they are thankful.
End with the Lord’s Prayer
