Summary of Guest Lecture
Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a guest lecture on the topic “Non Destructive
Testing” at Smart Class Room, Department of Mechanical Engineering on 12.09.2019 (Thursday) -
10.00 A.M. The program was started at 10.30 A.M. and ended 12.30 P.M. The session started with
welcome address by Dr.D..Jeyasimman, Asso. Prof. & Head of Department and also introduced the
guest speaker Mr.A.Munavar Sharief, Managing Director, Institute of Inspection Technology &
NDT Resources, Tiruchirappalli. Guest Speaker delivered his speech about the introduction of NDT
and its recent applications in Industries. Also he motivated our final year students to do project with
related to quality testing and patent filing. Totally 50 students were benefitted from this guest lecture.
Mr.A.Pugazhenthi, Asst. Prof./Mech. delivered his vote of thanks for every one present in the Guest
Lecture.
