Summary of Guest Lecture
Our Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a guest lecture on the topic “LATEST
TECHNOLOGY IN Manufacturing INDUSTRY about Inventor and Future of Making” at Smart
Class Room, Department of Mechanical Engineering, on 17.12.2019 (Tuesday). The morning
session program was started at 11.00 A.M. and ended 1.00 P.M for First year and Second year
students. The afternoon session program was started at 2.00 P.M. and ended 4.00 P.M for Third
year students. The session started with welcome address by Mr.P.Srinivasan, Asst. Prof. and
introduced the guest speaker Mr. Mahesh, USAM Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Chennai.
Guest Speaker delivered his speech about the introduction of software related to Manufacturing
and its recent applications in industries. The students interacted well and the lecture was quite
useful. Totally 73 students were benefitted from this guest lecture in morning session and 45
students in afternoon session. Mr.A.Pugzhenthi, Asst. Prof./Mech. delivered his vote of thanks
for every one present in the Guest Lecture.
