This document discusses priorities and methodologies for social research on the changing role of women in agriculture. The top priorities are examining the impact of women's changing roles on yield, food security, well-being, and household migration. Additional priorities include identifying social factors influencing the adoption or discontinuation of practices and how interventions can promote greater social harmony. Collaboration with farmers, civil society organizations, and social research institutions is recommended using participatory and multi-stakeholder approaches.
