This proposal assesses the knowledge and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) among construction workers at University of Gondar, Ethiopia. It notes that construction is a dangerous industry and injuries often result from not using PPE properly due to lack of knowledge. The study aims to evaluate workers' knowledge of PPE, health risks, and PPE use behaviors. It will use a descriptive cross-sectional design involving questionnaires, interviews, and document review of a randomly sampled group of workers. Findings could help improve PPE education and use to enhance construction worker safety.
