Name and origin
1. In a mixer, mix lactose starch with
the ginseng powder for 5 minutes.
2. Add the magnesium stearate and mix
for 5 minutes more.
3. Compress the powder with a 13 mm
diameter concave punch .
Uses of plant
Ginseng contains diversified components,
including saponins, polysaccharides,
polyacetylenes, phenols, and alkaloids.
Ginseng saponins, known as ginsenosides,
are an important class of natural
triterpene saponins, which are thought to
be responsible for the anti-diabetic effect in
ginseng.
Active constituents of plant
• Diabetes by increase insulin production, enhance
blood sugar uptake in cells, and provide
antioxidant protection. Improve erectile
dysfunction by decreasing oxidative stress in
tissues and enhancing blood flow in penile
muscles.
• Boost the immune system, increase levels of
immune cells.
• Fight tiredness and increase energy levels by
lowering oxidative damage and increasing energy
production in cells.
• Benefit brain function by improving memory and
suppress stress.

Ginseng contains a natural
pharmacological component as panaxosides
and ginsenosides.
Ginsenosides might be trusted source to
stabilize the hormone glucagon and insulin
to maintain levels of glucose. As such, it
may also help improve or delay potential
complications of diabetes.
Ginseng could help manage diabetes in
several different ways that include:
• Regulating insulin secretion .
• Regulating uptake of glucose.
• Regulating inflammation.
• Lessening effects of free radicals.

• Lactose starch
The root is yellowish-white and wrinkled
externally, and within consists usually of a
hard central portion, surrounded by a soft
whitish bark.

Panax gingseng has been found to cause
birth defects in animals , should not be
used in pregnancy.
