Ball Mill Casting Ball
Chromium Alloy Casting Ball
Product Description
Chromium alloy casting ball is widely used in the industries of powder making and superfine
processing, such as cement, metal mine, coal slurry thermal power, chemical engineering, ceramic
material, papermaking, magnet material, etc. The surface hardness of high chromium alloy casting
ball can reach 65HRC, while the surface hardness of low chromium alloy casting ball can reach
45HRC at least.
Moreover, it has the advantages of average distribution of hardness, low abrasion loss, high tenacity,
and low rupture rate. The production quality is high than the requirement of Standard
GB/T17445-2009, so the casting balls are never out of shape and out of round.
Chromium alloy casting balls can effectively increase the specific surface area of cement and
concentrate recovery rate. Meanwhile, it also improves the production capacity of ball mill, prolongs
the service life of lining plate, and finally reduces the operating cost.
Production Process
Medium-frequency electric furnace makes the quality of steel scrap, chromium alloy and other alloy
materials to the process of smelting and micro-alloying. The following processes are casting molding
and tempering. Constant temperature casting ensures the products without sand, porosity, collapse
and other quality defects. The oil quenching process, which includes the quenching and tempering,
changes the internal structure to further enhance the mechanical properties, and reduces the internal
stress to control the rupture rate. In the steps of before the smelting, after the smelting, semi-finished
product and finished product, it adopts the advanced spectral detection to ensure the chemical
composition and stable performance.
Category and Technical Parameters
According to the differences of chemical composition, chromium alloy casting ball divides into three
types: high chromium alloy casting ball, medium chromium alloy casting ball and low chromium
alloy casting ball.
