A Skyscraper refers to a building that gently touches the sky.
It means a very tall multistoried building.
It refers the high-rises of more than 40 – 50 stories.
It consist of a substructure supported by a deep foundation of piles beneath
the ground, and superstructure above the ground consisting of columns and
girders, and a curtain wallhung on the structural framework.
