This document contains the details of a general quiz being conducted by QuNITe for their batch of 2016. It has 4 rounds with a total of 28 multiple choice questions covering topics like etymology, science, history, geography, literature and popular culture. The rounds have different scoring mechanisms including direct points for correct answers, and deduction of points for wrong answers. It also includes tie-breaker questions in case of a tie. The quiz aims to test the knowledge of the QuNITe batch across various domains in a fun and engaging manner.

This quiz was hosted on 15th May 2022 as a part of Phoenix, the technology festival of the Future Institute of Engineering and Management (FIEM). It was an open-to-all general quiz with alphabetical prelims. The top 10 teams qualified to the finals. The winner ended the quiz with 145 points, while the other positions were decided by pounce in the very last question.

century. They gained popularity and fame as the singers
were trained to control their breath for a long period.
Using this technique, these artists could sing long
passages in a single breath. Furthermore, they are
unique as they use some Carnatic ragas in their envious
repertoire.There are ten main styles of singing in
Hindustani music like the ‘Dhrupad’, ‘Dhamar’, ‘Hori’,
‘Khayal’, ‘Tappa’, ‘Chaturang’, ‘Ragasagar’, ‘Tarana’,
‘Sargam’ and ‘Thumri’ .This gharana peculiarly got its
name from the Britishers who referred to this area to the
