- 3. What is GoogleSites? Google Sites is the easiest way to make information accessible to people who need quick, up-to-date access. People can work together on a Site to add file attachments, information from other Google applications (like Google Docs, Google Calendar, YouTube and Picasa), and new free-form content. Google Sites is the preferred platform for Georgia Southern University faculty and staff to host a personal or internal website.

- 13. Locate Google Appsicon in the upper right-hand corner
- 14. If you don’tsee the Sites icon, choose “Even More”
- 15. Scroll down to“Home & Office” and locate “Sites”
- 16. Choose “Create” onthe left- hand side of the screen
- 17. Browse the galleryfor a template or start with a blank one
- 18. There are severalGeorgia Southern themed templates!
- 19. Name your siteand choose “Create”
- 20. Edit the pagewith the icon in the upper-right hand corner
- 21. Create a newpage with icon in the upper-right hand corner
- 22. The “Gear” icongives you even more options!
