Hi my name is golu.
Everyone loves me.
My family loves me. They hug me
and kiss me often. I feel happy
when my mommy gives me a hug
and a kiss after I wake up.
I feel nice when my papa gives me a
good night kiss

I feel excited when grandma and
grandpa come to visit and they hug
and kiss me.
I also hug my friends and family
when I am happy
When do you feel good, nice
and happy ???
When I go to the park with my
mother, some people come and pull
my cheeks. And some touch my
back.
I feel bad and unsafe. I don’t like it
when they touch me.
Do you also feel the same???
When????
I will feel threatened and scared when
someone slaps me, kicks me, pinches
me, or hurts me,

I don’t like when a stranger hugs and
kisses me.
My mother says that nobody should
touch me if I don't want to be touched.
She also tells me that if a person
touches me in a way that I don’t like
then it is a bad touch.
It is a bad touch if a person forces me to
touch him or her.

It is a bad touch if a person asks me not
to tell anyone.
What should we do
about the “bad touch”
My mother told me to do certain things if I
get a bad touch:-
•Say no! Tell the person that you don't like it
and you don't want to be touched.

•Get away fast! Run away from the person
whose touch you don't like.
•Call for help. You can scream!

•Never stay alone with that person ever
again.

• always tell someone you trust
This story deals with a sensitive topic, and in today’s time this story is
more relevant. Apart from socio emotional skills this story will
enhance language, and problem solving skills in the children .
while narrating the story parents/teachers can talk about certain
points which will help in knowing what children feel about this issue.

How many of us like hugs, kisses, and touches from people we
know, love, and trust?
 How about those same kinds of touches from people we do not
know, do not like, or do not trust?
 When we get touches, we get feelings inside. Good touches give us
good feelings.
 Sometimes touches can give us bad feelings inside. Sad Frightened
Unloved Unwanted
TOUCHING RULES No one should ever touch your private parts
except to keep you clean or healthy.
 Never agree to keep it a secret. Tell someone you trust.
 Whose Fault Is It? The Person Who Did the Touching
 parent can also show pictures of people touching each other and
ask children is it a good touch or is it a bad touch.
