3. Your Body is Special
• You are a special person and your body is special too!
• What is special about you?
• Let’s say this together
All bodies are different,
But mine’s just right for me.
When I look into the mirror,
I like what I see!

4. Taking Care of Our Special Bodies
• There are adults who help
take care of your body.
• These grown ups may need
to see or touch your body to
help you.
• Can you think of adults who
help take care of your
body?
Parents might
help you get
clean.
Doctors
might
help you
stay well.
A nurse
might check
parts of your
body that
feel sick.

5. Good Touch
Good Touch Makes You Feel…
• Happy
• Loved
• Safe
• Comfortable
Good Touch Looks Like…
• A hug
• A high-five
• A pat on the back
• An arm around the
shoulder

6. Bad Touch
Bad Touch Makes You Feel…
• Scared
• Nervous
• Uncomfortable
• Sad
• Icky
• Weird
Bad Touch Looks Like…
• Someone holding you down
• Grabbing
• Hitting or pushing
• Touching private parts

7. Your Body is Private
• No one should ever touch
your private parts without
good reason!
• Private parts are those that
are covered by your bathing
suit.

8. No one should
ever touch your
body and ask you
to keep it a
secret.
If someone tells you this, you
can say, “NO! Don’t
touch me! I’m
going to tell!”

9. Don’t ever be afraid to
tell a trusted adult.
Who are your safe adults?

10. Moms, dads, grandparents, or other
close family members
Teachers, school counselors, principals,
or other trusted adults in the school

11. How to Say, “No!”
If someone tries to touch you
in an uncomfortable way…
• Say, “No! Don’t touch me! I’m going to
tell!”
• Say, “Stop! I don’t like that!”

12. Tell Your Safe Adults
If someone made you
uncomfortable…
• Say, “Someone tried to touch my
private parts.”
• Say, “Someone touched my private
parts.”
• Say, “Someone made me
uncomfortable.”

13. Keep telling safe adults
until someone gets you
help.
Make sure your safe adult believes you!
REMEMBER: What might have happened
to you is NEVER your fault!!
