3. Pick out snippets that will
be optimal to repurpose
1. Go through your past
blog and social media
posts
2. Pick out content that is
still timely, relevant and
performed well
You can do this by…
Creating an outline of the blog.
Making a list of the important subject matter.
Highlighting content that can be made into
one-liners, such as quotes or stats.
Taking list posts and breaking them down into
more detail - using each bullet as the main
topic and expanding upon it.
And…Making complex/longer posts into lists.
Take your snippets and decide how to
repurpose it and where it will go.
• The easiest place to repurpose - you only have 140
characters!
• Use a snippet you pulled out earlier, such as a
quote, stat or main point.
• Think about creating an image and adding the text,
a blog title or tweetable info to it to make it more
visually appealing.
• It’s best to add a link to the original content if
possible.
FACEBOOK
You can repurpose your content the same way
you would for Twitter.
Include images and add text if necessary – just
remember to keep it short and to the point.
PINTEREST
Create an engaging image, such as an infographic
or a how-to flowchart. Summarize the content in a
visual way.
SLIDESHARE
Take the outline and bullet points from the original
content and add them to different slides. Don’t be
afraid to use more text than usual because you
won’t actually be presenting it.

  • 23. • The easiest place to repurpose - you only have 140 characters! • Use a snippet you pulled out earlier, such as a quote, stat or main point. • Think about creating an image and adding the text, a blog title or tweetable info to it to make it more visually appealing. • It’s best to add a link to the original content if possible.

  • 26. You can repurpose your content the same way you would for Twitter. Include images and add text if necessary – just remember to keep it short and to the point.
