The Goliath Tarantula is a large spider found in the Amazon rainforest that eats insects, frogs, and rodents. It does not build a nest but instead lines its burrow with silk walls and trip wires for protection. At up to one foot long and the size of a dinner plate, the Goliath Tarantula is one of the largest spider species in the world.
