We work very hard to protect our EMR from creating excessive visits for billing purposes. We want the EMR to be the main focus-and useable.
Even though it has been a difficult change for billing and coding to not auto discharge recurring accounts, and instead use interim billing, they have transitioned to those changes because they also understand the importance of the ability have USABLE clinical information.
